Overview:

This three day course suits both those new to digital video editing and existing editors familiar with other track-based non-linear editing platforms who wish diversify their editing skills and become competent Final Cut Pro X.

Using the very latest version (10.2) and under the guidance of Northern Ireland’s only Apple Certified Trainer in Final Cut Pro X (Levels 1 and 2), participants will learn the media management and metadata foundations of FCPX that enables the hyper-efficient sifting of clips, the lightning-fast production of rough cut edits, projects polished with animation, titles and effects and how to share your work to master files, mobile devices and contemporary social media outlets.

An option to sit the Apple Certified Pro exam is also being made available.

Dec 7th, 2015  (including half-day revision — minimum 3 candidates required)

Costs

Training: £500 for the three day training event (deposit of £200 required to secure place)

Optional Exam: £150 including half day revision and exam voucher (full fee due in advance

Cancellations:

Cancellations and withdrawals made within 7 days of the training event will not be eligible for full refunds. Should minimum numbers for training and/or exam not be met then Taught Media will refund all deposit and/or exam fees already lodged.

Due to the limited places available, a deposit for the training (£200) will need to be paid to secure you seat at the training event with the balance due on the first day of training. This can be made by cheque, bank transfer or online card payment.

If you intend to sit the exam, an additional £150 is also due immediately to secure you exam voucher. Please feel free to discuss what the exam and certification entails.
